COUNSELLING
COGNITIVE BEHAVIOURAL THERAPY
PSYCHOTHERAPY

Past trauma or difficult situations can limit your beliefs in yourself, this can start damaging certain relationships in your life. You start feeling a certain way about situations in your life, not understanding why things are happening. There is hope to a new perspective, in the counselling sessions, we work through why you are reacting or feeling the way you do. We work on finding the core issue, this is not always easy and needs commitment from both your counsellor and of course you.

Learnt behavior can damage different aspects of one's life, marriage's, work relationships, family relationships and bring on anxiety, depression, addictions, eating disorders and so much more.

I am a firm believer in CBT (COGNITIVE BEHAVIOR THERAPY). I will guide you along your journey to mental wellness. Knowing you have a counsellor that will be there every step of the way, is encouraging for anyone that feels alone in their struggles.
Remember no problem is too small, if it matters to you, it is important!

Chantel Groenewald

CEO/THERAPIST

Hi my name is Chantel Groenewald. I am a passionate Therapist, wanting to truly help other's through their toughest times. I have been asked many times why I have chosen a career in mental health, and the answer is pretty simple. Knowing how it feels to be misunderstood, have learning issues in school with dyslexia, having anxiety etc, I know how it feels to be alone, and having fear of judgement. My goal is to change that as much as I can, I don't want people to feel spoken at, I want people to feel safe, heard and understood! Since receiving my qualifications, starting my own Therapy Centre and being able to help many people, my passion grows by the day. Trusting your therapist, and being as honest as possible is a key component to having success in therapy. A little snippet of me and if I can use my weaknesses to strengthen myself and create a career, then what is stopping you from using yours?
